SAMSON PGH – THE EXTREMELY PRECISE SAMSON SLURRY TANKER

There is high precision in the two unique slurry trailers at Axel Månsson's vegetable rows - but the trailers are not really unique.

Workshop Manager Kresten Møller from Samson Agrolize explains that they have tried as many factory solutions as possible to achieve Månsson's wishes:

- This is a Samson PG II 16 - 16 cubic meter SAMSON slurry tanker. Different axles have been fitted to meet the demand for a tighter turning radius and larger wheel diameter. For example, it has the same wheel bearings and brakes as a standard truck," he says, pointing to the wheel steering as the part that has changed the most on the trucks:

- A John Deere GPS antenna is mounted on the SAMSON PGH slurry tanker, which talks to the antenna on the John Deere tractor driving the tanker. The implement control system controls the slurry tanker in the field, correcting the wheel axles to ensure that the SAMSON PGH slurry tanker is very precise in the rows.
