SAMSON AGROLIZE AB TAKES OVER THE DISTRIBUTION OF SAMSON FROM SWEDISH AGRO MACHINERY

As a result of SAMSON GROUP A/S' acquisition of 100% of the shares in GØMA A/S in early September 2021, SAMSON AGROLIZE AB will take over the distribution of SAMSON GROUP A/S' product portfolio from Swedish Agro Machinery on June 30, 2022, to which SAMSON GROUP A/S says goodbye and thanks after 5 years of good cooperation.

Swedish Agro Machinery will continue as a dealer of new SAMSON machines until this date and customers can continue to have their SAMSON machines and implements serviced here until June 30, 2022.

As of January 1, 2022, Swedish customers can choose whether they want to use Swedish Agro Machinery or Samson Agrolize AB when purchasing spare parts or having service work performed.

Termination of cooperation was not the intention

"Swedish Agro Machinery has done a great job for the SAMSON brand in Sweden, including building a sales and service organization with dedicated SAMSON specialists, we would like to thank them for that" says Group Market Director in SAMSON GROUP Peter Thorn and continues

"It was never our intention to end our collaboration with Swedish Agro Machinery, but as we recently got a unique opportunity to take over Gøma A/S, which already has a strong organization in Sweden, it is natural for us to take over this task from Swedish Agro Machinery in Sweden with the trading company Samson Agrolize, which Gøma A/S has become a part of and which already handles sales and service of our products in Denmark."

Both Peter Thorn and CEO of Swedish Agro Machinery, Hans-Christian Ripa, emphasize that the current distribution agreement between the two companies will be adhered to by both parties until the current agreements expire.

Service and spare parts

Until June 30, 2022, Swedish Agro Machinery will continue with aftermarket activities for SAMSON.

As early as January 1, 2022, Samson Agrolize AB will open up sales of original SAMSON spare parts and service and repair work in parallel with Swedish Agro Machinery. From this date, Swedish customers will be able to choose whether they buy from Swedish Agro Machinery or Samson Agrolize AB, and both companies will handle warranty obligations for newly sold SAMSON machines and those still under warranty in parallel.

"Samson Agrolize AB will of course take over both service and warranty obligations on newly sold SAMSON machines and those still under warranty." says Peter Thorn.

Hans-Christian Ripa is sad to see SAMSON and Swedish Agro Machinery part ways: "We have enjoyed working with SAMSON and wish them all the best. We look forward to continuing to serve our SAMSON customers until we cease to do so in accordance with the above agreements."

In connection with SAMSON GROUP's acquisition of Gøma A/S, Gøma's product program has ceased to be an independent brand. Samson Agrolize AB has already taken over the service and warranty obligations on the existing Gøma fleet in Sweden.

With the acquisition of Gøma A/S, SAMSON GROUP A/S will consolidate Gøma A/S and the trading company Samson Agrolize A/S - a subsidiary of SAMSON GROUP A/S in line with the manufacturing companies SAMSON AGRO A/S, SAMSON AGRO SASU (France) and SAMSON AGRO S.P. z o.o. (Poland) - into an even stronger dealer organization with focus on Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
